Hobey Baker Award

The Hobey Baker High School Character Award was established by the Hobey Baker Foundation in 2003. Michigan is one of 25 states and the District of Columbia that participate in this prestigious program

“Character, Commitment, Teamwork, Persistence, Selflessness, Academic Excellence and Sportsmanship. ‘The Team before me.’ Those are the values that the Hobey Baker Foundation promotes and recognizes with the Hobey Baker High School Character Award. The award is presented to the player on each High School team that most exemplifies the values and traits of Hobey Baker himself.”
